The Middle East

The Lord has opened a unique door for me to impact the Middle East. In December I traveled to a major city in the region to work with "Najah," an anointed woman of God who has a regular Arabic-language broadcast seen in many countries. We taped segments for seven 45-minute programs that are being aimed at women.

In my segments I teach from the Gospels about how Jesus ministered to women. Middle Easterners appreciate story-telling, so I related how he healed the bleeding woman, liberated the Samaritan woman at the well, defended the woman caught in adultery, called Mary of Bethany to sit at His feet, and commissioned the women at the tomb to take His message to the world.

Najah and I also taped 13 shorter segments in which she read passages from the Bible about women and I commented on the true meaning of these scriptures. These segments will be used in some follow-up programs. Najah is expecting heavy response to the shows when they air, and her ministry is offering a booklet with more teaching on God’s heart for women.

Najah is taping some additional segments in late December, and a singer who wrote original Arabic music for the program will record that. I’ll keep you posted on when the programs will air.
