El Salvador
In July 2004 I was invited to speak at a large women’s conference sponsored by Juan Carlos and Cristina Hasbun, who are emerging Christian leaders in the capital city of San Salvador. Cristina is a model for the women of this nation. She has stepped out of the traditional role of a Latino woman and is blazing a trail for them to follow.
About 12,000 women came to the National Stadium for the event. It was worth the trip to see thousands of them raise their hands as I asked Jesus to heal all who were dealing with chronic physical or emotional pain. Jesus is bringing His healing touch to those who have been downtrodden.
